Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen for Badgley Mischka's Ad Campaign

Ashley Olsen, known for their bohemian style, will be featured in the new spring ad campaign for Badgley Mischka. The campaign will be the first time the Olsen Twins will promote a brand outside of their own empire. The add campaign will debut in April issues of Vogue, Elle, InStyle, Vanity Fair and others.

The Olsen twins attended Badgley Mischka’s fall preview at New York Fashion Week. The designers said the 19-year-old actresses “reflect the younger, edgier and more sensual glamour that we have incorporated in our latest fall collection.”

“Ashley and Mary-Kate have grown up to become America’s young style icons. They have an amazing sense of fashion and individuality that intrigued us,” the design duo of Mark Badgley and James Mischka said Wednesday in a statement.

Ashley said: "We have been fans of Mark and James for years and were honored when approached to appear in the campaign."

Mary-Kate added: "Recently, we attended their fall fashion show. The clothes were glamorous, beautiful, colorful and fun."

The campaign was photographed by legendary photographer, Gilles Bensimon in New York in the Presidential Suite of the St. Regis Hotel and was created by Iconix's in-house marketing team.

Badgley Mischka designs appeal to a range of women, including celebrities Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Catherine Zeta Jones or Kate Winslet. Badgley Mischka is sold in the most prestigious stores in the world including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Holt Renfrew.

The central theme of the add campaign was "modern day Cinderella's." Creatively, they were all about having the girls look gorgeous and elegant but not perfectly coiffed. It is a looser more unrefined and approachable glamour.

The campaign features both Olsen's wearing gowns from the couture collection.
